TRIS recently presented an exhibition named "The World's Greatest Mela – Honoring India’s Cinematic Legacy" at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi. Curated by Neville Tuli, this showcase featured a carefully curated selection from a vast collection of over 400,000 items related to Indian cinema, such as rare film posters, vintage booklets, original promotional materials, and memorabilia from iconic films associated with TRIS. The exhibition also spotlighted hand-painted posters, vintage booklets, and promotional items from classic Indian movies like "Mughal-E-Azam," "Pakeezah," and "Sholay," as well as highlighted significant partnerships in Indian cinema history, such as those of Raj Kapoor and Nargis, and Amitabh Bachchan and Manmohan Desai. Additionally, the exhibition delved into the portrayal of dance in Indian cinema as a storytelling device. Many student groups from various educational institutions visited the exhibition, eager to learn about the history of Indian cinema and its influence on our society.
